Three minutes flat to a compliment-worthy barnet
This is my greatest beauty discovery ever. It’s perfect for when you can’t be bothered to wash your locks, you’ve slept on your hair funny and don’t have time to straighten it, or those few weeks before you see your hairdresser when you desperately need a cut. It will disguise a multitude of sins and actually looks pretty cool.
Step 1
Get hold of a handful of Kirby grips, depending on how much you hair you have, plus a bottle of hairspray. Start with the top layer of your hair.
Take a chunk, wrap it round your index finger twice, pin the twist to the top of your head.
Step 2
Repeat until all your hair is pinned upwards and then tidy up any extravagant twists and pieces of hair sticking out at all angles with more grips.
Step 3
Pin short hair at the nape of your neck upwards and complete with hairspray to keep the whole sculpture in place.
Accept compliments graciously.
